Good food is hard to find.
Eastern Long Island has only a few African and Caribbean restaurants — scattered, rare, and seldom carrying the warmth and depth found in Southern kitchens. Each trip down South offered flavors and stories that were hard to find back home. NOFO Soul was created to share those dishes with family, friends, and a small circle who appreciate good food, great vibes, and flavor with a history. What began as cooking for loved ones evolved into a private culinary experience shaped by culture, connection, and the desire to bring something meaningful to this community.
